Previously the Assistant Director of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) at the New York State Governor’s Office of Storm Recovery (GOSR), Amanda established and maintained the GIS platform for research and spatial analysis. She developed methodologies and procedures using GIS analyses to aid in the national objective determination of natural disaster recovery projects. This effort assisted GOSR to make more informed decisions while dispensing the $4.2 Billion dollars of HUD’s CDBG-DR grant money awarded to New York State.
Outside of work, Amanda enjoys traveling with her family and friends and spending time outdoors with her dog, Rhea.
